Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a soul like mine.

I once was lost but now am found, surprised by love divine.

Our God has promised good to us, God’s word our hope secures;

This Spirit fills in hope and joy as long as life endures.

Tis grace to teach our hearts good cheer, new life by cheer conceive,

Surprised that grace might so appear, the Church might now believe!
