Local citizens have arranged a rare opportunity to voice our concerns on national policies directly to one of our elected leaders. Representative Richard Neal is the Ranking Member on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee.
The Town Hall will take place on Friday, September 15 at 5:30 at the Robert Boland Theater in the Koussevitsky Art Center at BCC in Pittsfield. Questions on any and all topics will be taken.
Faith communities have a substantial interest, especially now, in keeping open the lines of communication between constituents and their democratically elected representatives. There are so many issues that we need to discuss with the Congressm: immigration, the environment, war and peace, tax reform — to name a few. I have been working with Richard Brown from Sheffield for upwards of six months to get this Town Hall to happen. The Boland theater seats 600 people and we want those seats filled!
